We continue the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs this Sunday. We have a two-game NFL DFS slate on SuperDraft.
Below are my top three plays for the slate.
Cam Akers, RB, Los Angeles Rams (1.2x score multiplier)
We all expected the Los Angeles Rams to prioritize Sony Michel in their Wild Card matchup against the Cardinals. We were all wrong. Akers quickly got his step back and looked dominant. He led the Rams backfield with 17 carries last week (compared to 13 for Michel and 2 for Jake Funk). His 17 carries turned into 55 rushing yards, and he had one huge reception for another 40 yards. Akers will most likely be used to keep the Rams on the field so Tom Brady and the Buccaneers can’t do their usual damage to opposing teams.
Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills (1.2x)
The weekend’s slate caps off with what should be an exciting matchup between the Bills and Chiefs. This game has the highest Vegas-projected point total with 54, so we most likely will see fireworks. Diggs will have a good matchup as he should line up across from Mike Hughes. However, Diggs moves around and can do damage from anywhere. Hughes does allow a catch rate of 60% and 0.31 fantasy points per route.
Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills (1x)
Allen kicked off his playoff run with a dominant performance in the freezing cold last week. He completed 21 of his 25 passes for 308 yards and five touchdowns. He also added on 66 rushing yards. This week he gets the Chiefs, who are giving up the second-most SuperDraft points to quarterbacks this season, with 22.1 per game. Early in the season, back in Week 5, Allen threw for 315 yards with 3 touchdowns and one rushing touchdown against this Chiefs team. He’ll be a popular option Sunday, but it’s hard not to pass up on playing the good chalk.
